Island is located at the Northern coast of Oahu near the town of Waikane.
From Waikiki take the
H1 in the direction of the airport, take the Pali Highway exit (route 61)
leading to the Pali lookout area,
near the Hawaii Pacific University you take a left turn onto route 83, before
reaching Mokoli'i and the town of Waikane
you pass the Byodo-in Temple and Senator Fong's Plantation.
